Dr. Temitope Ekwo hosts Women's Health Lunch and Learns


Huntsville's only female OB/GYN, Temitope Ekwo, MD hosted two lunch and learn women's health events, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 21st and 22nd for Curves open house in Huntsville and Willis.




American Heart Association Heart Walk Kick-off Breakfast


Huntsville Memorial Hospital hosted the American Heart Association 2016 Heart Walk Kick-off Breakfast on Tuesday, September 13 with great attendance. Brittany Cervantes, the American Heart Association's Corporate Market Director for the Bryan/College Station Area led the breakfast by introducing the 2016 Heart Walk Chairs, including: Shannon Brown, Huntsville Memorial Hospital CEO, Dr. Gaurav Aggarwala, HMH Physician Organization Cardiologist, Mayor Andy Brauninger, City of Huntsville and Judge Danny Pierce, Walker County. The American Heart Association Walker County Heart Walk will take place, Saturday, November 12th. The entire community is invited and encouraged to participate.  Learn more here.



Huntsville Memorial Hospital Tailgate at 1st SHSU Football Game


Huntsville Memorial Hospital hosted a tailgate at the Sam Houston State University football season opener on September 3rd.  The Huntsville Memorial Hospital Marketing Team gave out koozies, Frisbees and frito pies.  A great time was had by all, accompanied by a Bearkat win!




Dr. Karla Bruning hosts Hormone Therapy Lunch and Learns


Karla Bruning, MD, Medical Director of the Willis Family and Specialty Clinic, and author of Mastering the Balancing Act hosted a lunch and learn Tuesday, August 30th.  She shared her expertise and the latest developments in hormone replacement therapy.
